
The casuals will resent being herded into content they don't want to do, and the hardcore raiders aren't going to be happy with the raiding scene being polluted with casuals who don't care enough to 'get good' and just do the bare minimum needed to get carried through the raids. People that left for lack of good group content aren't going to suddenly come back for the exact same content now with 50% more gear treadmill, and pushing non-raiders into raiding is just going to piss everyone off. Yeah, but the changes being discussed here aren't methods of offering more group content or improving the group content experience, it's just ways to compel more people to grind the same old group content more often. Is that because nobody wants group content, or because the people who do have all left because the game hasn’t offered it? There’s a really good chance bioware is just trying to expand the audience a bit and bring back the ton of people who left over the years.
